4. Our Role: Controller vs. Processor
ALIANDO acts in different roles depending on context:
- As a Data Controller:
For marketing, website visitors, event attendees, prospects, partners, and job applicants. - As a Data Processor:
When providing managed services, support, licensing, or technical operations where we process customer tenant, service, or operational data strictly on customer instructions.
When acting as a processor, ALIANDO processes data under a written agreement and the customer remains the data controller.
